"We are very proud of the dedicated men and women of the City of Newburgh Police Department," said City Manager Jean-Ann McGrane. "Their exemplary performance in the line of duty and their demonstrated commitment to this community have earned them a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest police forces in New York State."

"It is an honor and a pleasure for me to work with this fine team," said Chief Eric Paolilli. "In the course of day-to-day police business, we often don't have time to tell our officers how much their hard work, their courage, and their dedication means. This awards ceremony offers us an opportunity to congratulate them and recognize all that they do."
