Newburgh City Parks |

The Desmond Tennis Courts are located on South Street just east of Fullerton Ave, near Newburgh Free Academy. The two courts are available for playing tennis from sunup to sundown.
State Senator Thomas C. Desmond gave the tennis courts to the City on July 29, 1960, saying "there can be no difference of opinion regarding the good which will result from adequate and healthful recreational facilities in a city such as Newburgh."
