Afterschool programs benefit children, youth, families and communities. Funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant from the New York State Education Department, we fund four lead agencies and over twenty service providers to deliver academic support and enrichment to children and youth afterschool.

Sites include:

  • Best Resource Center
  • Orange County Community College Center for Youth Development
  • Mullins Apartments / Glenn E. Hines Boys and Girls Club
  • Horizons-on-the-Hudson School

Designed to keep kids safe during the critical hours of 3-6pm, the "Afterschool is Power" Project involves four afterschool programs and is funded by a grant from the Department of Justice.
